Banque Misr Serves as Inspiration

Cairo, Egypt (June 13, 2018) – For the second year in a row, Banque Masr has launched its Ramadan app, named Talaat Harb Rag3 for the leading Egyptian economist who founded the bank so many years ago.

The campaign celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship and meeting challenges against all odds to rise again. The message is that by starting with yourself, you can revolutionize the economy. 

The innovative app created by e-motion is deceptively simple, just insert your name and photo in the space where Talaat Harb is on the poster, and you, too, will show your commitment to reclaiming your glory and achieving your goals. Although user-friendly, the development of the app presented a few challenges, even for the talented e-motion team.

It had to be applied to all browsers, and be able to identify genders by name, as well as work seamlessly on Facebook and other social media accounts across all types of devices. The task was achieved in a very short time frame in order to meet Ramadan, and called on all the skills of e-motion's development team. 

The end result showed that the effort paid off, the app garnered more than 100,000 users in just a few days, with most being from the youthful social media community.
